Acclaimed art house director Shyamaprasad’s latest movie ‘Electra’ featuring Nayantara has already released its promos on mini screen. The movie which was selected to the year’s IFFK will now make a release earlier than expected.

Produced by Vindhyan, the movie set in the backdrop of a Christian family deals with the complex relationship between a father and his daughter. While Prakash Raj dons’ the role of the father, Nayantara is the daughter.

Manisha Koirala also debuts in Malayalam as the mother to the character played by Nayantara. The movie scripted by Kiran Prabhakar will have music by Alphonse.

Meanwhile, next weekend will also have a variety of releases including ‘Best of Luck’ and ‘College Days’. While the former will have Mammootty in a guest appearance, ‘College Days’ is an investigative campus thriller with Indrajith in the lead.
